Created by Yasuhiro Nightow, Trigun is a Japanese franchise that spans Manga and Anime adaptations that follow the adventures of Vash The Stampede, a kindhearted, pacifist gunslinger with a sixty-billion double-dollar bounty on his head. Set in the distant future, Trigun is a sci-fi western that incorporates high-tech elements amidst an American wild west motif. The original anime launched in 1998 following the manga franchise from 1995-1997, with 2023 bringing a brand new adaptation again helmed by Nightow titled Trigun Stampede.
