Summary
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a third-person stealth/action game developed by Asobo Studio. Set in the 1300s, players take on the role of 15-year old Amicia de Rune, a teenager from France of noble descent. Her young brother who is ill from an unknown disease has been hidden and cared for by her family, until one day their parents are murdered by the French Inquisition. Escaping to a nearby village, the two learn of the black plague spreading throughout Europe, and learn that his disease is tied to a supernatural evil which runs through their family. Hugo's dormant power is what the inquisition seeks, and now Amica and Hugo must find a cure and escape before the ruling class of France take them both. The sequel to this title, A Plague Tale: Requiem releases on October 18 2022 for next-gen consoles and PC.
